Patti Glinski called the
meeting to order.
Approval of September Minutes

Principal’s Report Mrs. Carufe
The school year is going very well.
Mrs.
Carufe was able to purchase twelve new chairs and six desks with the profit
from the candy sale.
The
Eighth Grade will be attending Respect Life Day on October 20th at
St. Martin DePorres.
Father
Robert has been coming to the school.
He has asked the teachers to give him specific topics to discuss with
each class.
Monsignor
Martin’s birthday is October 6th.
The
teachers will be attending a conference on October 12th in
Somers. School will be closed that day.
Mrs.
Carufe is a member of the Values Advisory Committee.
Mrs.
Carufe reminded the parents that they must be strong in their Catholic faith at
home.
Mrs.
Carufe will hold another Safe Environment Class on October 16th.
Mrs.
Carufe reminded everyone to sign up for Parent/Teacher Conferences at the Book
Fair.
335 cards have been sold. This fundraiser made $1,300.
There are about 200 cards left that will be sent back to the
company.
School Cookbook Anne
Machado
Brenda Yackeren reported that Anne received 300
recipes. She has ordered the
cookbooks. The cookbooks will be
delivered the second week of November.
Outback Steakhouse Trudi Newhard
The dinner will be held on November 5th in
the gymnasium. There will be a 3PM and
a 5PM seating. Tickets will be $15 for
adults, $6 for children ages 5 through 10, and children under 4 are free. The tickets will be sold through school and
after masses. There will be no tickets
sold at the door. Seats will be
assigned. There is no senior
discount. A letter asking for
volunteers to sell at masses will be sent home this Friday. A letter for ticket sales will also go home
on Friday.
The Innisbrook sale has been extended until October 3rd. So far Diane has $10,400 in sales.
Kathy is waiting for the farm to send her the
packets. She is sending a reminder home
on Friday.
The DJ has the deposit. Tony’s Pizza is providing pizza, wings, fries, and ziti. So far there are about 70 responses. Nancy would like to get 100. She needs $100 for start up costs.
The sale starts on October 6th and
runs until October 20th.
Defensive Driving Patti
Glinski
A flyer was
sent home and the course was advertised in the bulletin. Another flyer will be sent home on October
13th. Bob needs at least 20
people signed up. Forty is the maximum
amount of people.
Patti Glinski followed up with Bridget, who was unable to
attend the meeting. She will contact
Krispy Kreme to confirm the date and the order of 200 dozen assorted and 100
dozen glazed donuts.
Peggy
is on target. This is a Fourth Grade
event. The room mothers are Joan
Gregory and Jane Balasiano.
Gym Uniforms Katie
Glembotzky
Twenty responses were received.
Sandy will send home a letter this week for food
donations and volunteers. This is an
Eighth grade event.
Sandy received 157 responses. The directory will be ready in the middle of the month.
Sandy is
submitting articles on the carwash and carnival. She needs pictures from the carnival.
Jackie will be getting started. She asked for $500 for start-up.
A reminder will be sent out on Friday.
The bake sale made a near record profit of $1,188.
Meeting was
closed with a prayer.
